Currency conversion
Customers pay in their currency. You are paid in yours. Conversion happens at the mid-market rate on the day of settlement with no added spread.
Refunds
Refunds return the full transaction fee to you. Partial refunds are prorated. Tax on the refunded amount is reclaimed by ePayX, not by you.
Failed payments
You are only charged on successful transactions. Declines, cancelled checkouts and failed renewals cost nothing.
Payouts
Every Tuesday to a bank account in 30+ currencies via SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH or SWIFT. Payouts under €50 roll over to the next week.
Business customers
Valid VAT IDs are verified in real time. Reverse charge is applied automatically and the invoice says so. No extra fee.
Volume pricing
Above €250,000 per month we quote a custom rate. Same scope, same liability transfer, lower percentage.
Questions we get every week.
Is 5% + 50¢ really everything?
Yes. That is the only line on your statement. Tax handling, fraud screening, disputes, invoicing, subscriptions, payouts and support are all inside it. There is no monthly fee, no setup fee and no minimum.
Who is the seller on the customer's invoice?
ePayX Ltd. is the seller of record. Your brand and product name appear on the invoice and on the card statement descriptor, but the legal seller and the tax remitter is ePayX. That is what moves the liability to us.
What happens when a customer files a chargeback?
The dispute is addressed to ePayX. We respond with the evidence we collected at checkout. If we lose, we absorb the amount. Your payout is not touched and you are not charged a dispute fee.
Can I keep my existing Stripe or Adyen account?
You can keep it for whatever it does today. ePayX sits in front of the customer as the seller, so it replaces the checkout and billing part. Many customers migrate subscriptions in batches over a few weeks.
How does the weekly payout work?
Every Tuesday we settle all transactions captured up to the previous Sunday, minus fees and refunds, in your payout currency. You receive one transfer and one statement with one line per week.
Are there countries you do not cover?
We currently sell into 180+ countries and remit tax in 60+ jurisdictions. Sanctioned territories are excluded. The full list is available from sales and updated quarterly.
